I love the story behind Noonday Collection. It started as a way for Jessica and her husband to raise money to adopt their son from Rwanda. Once they saw that adoption come to fruition, they decided to continue and extend their business by launching the ambassador program. I am blown away by the opportunity that this program lends to women like you and me. Instead of watching from the sidelines, or just supporting through purchases, being an ambassador gives anyone and everyone the chance to join with Noonday in their journey of providing fashionable, fun, and stylish designs to consumers while simultaneously creating "economic opportunity for the vulnerable." It's as simple as hosting a party to showcase the current collection in your home. You get to hang out with friends, try on beautifully crafted pieces, and in turn generate an income for yourself as you support the artisans from around the world who hand crafted each piece.
Be sure to visit their website and to read their story for yourself. Also, do a little shopping while you're there :). Their products are beautifully crafted and they have a variety of price ranges to shop within. My current favorite happens to be the Eternity Earrings, but I'm also thinking I need to get my hands their La Gloria Bag.
Are you drawn toward businesses that create opportunity in these ways?
What are your favorite pieces in Noonday's current collection?
I'd love to hear your thoughts! I'll be back tomorrow with a new baby bump post featuring more photos from today's look.
