I hit 38 weeks on Monday (although these pics are from week 36...i'm so behind on posting) and man oh man, we are so ready to meet this baby girl! Aside from a few discomforts like feeling the weight of her (she's dropped so low!), my right hand going numb occasionally, and making a quadzillion trips to the restroom every single night, I've felt great! When I say we're ready, it's because we're so close to her due date that it feels like we're just being teased at this point. Her nursery is pretty much ready, her laundry is done, our birth bag is packed, etc. etc. We're just waiting for her arrival! I know Josh sits at work/in class each day and waits for "the" phone call. You know...the one where I'm like, "DUUUUUUDE! SHE'S COMING!" Haha...I've played over that conversation a million times in my mind. What will I say? How will I break the news? Will I make a silly joke or will I already be so much in the moment that I'll have to be direct and to the point? I have no idea, but I'm looking forward to it. Hopefully it'll all go down when we're at home together. The waiting is the hardest part, no?

Let's get to today's giveaway!

This is for all you pretty preggo ladies, current mamas, future mamas, and any of you who just love good quality clothing. PinkBlush Maternity is definitely geared toward those who are expecting, but so many of their clothes could be worn even without a baby bump. I LOVE this green maternity cardigan from PBM! It's a good example of a piece that can be worn before, during, and after birth. I'm sure you guys will be seeing it for a long time here on Every New Day. I love that it's long, light and roomy and can go with just about anything I have in my closet. Layered, or by itself over a tank, it's so versatile! Leave me a comment below with your favorite piece from the PinkBlush Maternity website and enter to win a $25 gift card to snag something for yourself!

Today's giveaway is open to US residents only. Those who have hosted or won a giveaway from PinkBlush Maternity within the past 6 months are not eligible to win. Winner will be announced on Wednesday January 29th.

Happy entering everyone!

  2. I love that cardigan but I also love the striped maxi dress. I'd be happy just to have to shop there in the near future. Yeah...fingers have been crossed since November. I can't wait to hear about how your call to Stew goes.

  4. These last few weeks seem to go by so slowly to me. I feel like the first 30 or so weeks go by quickly enough but once you hit that 35 mark time slows down. UGH!!!! You are so close!! I have 4 more weeks and I feel like it won't ever get here. No, seriously, time has stopped.

    1. Oh yes, these last few weeks feel like they're going in slow motion. I want her to stay put as long as she can so she's healthy, but at the same time I'm ready for her to just be here already! It's hard to be this close to the finish line :)!!
